Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to lead our nursing and healthcare services with passion, expertise, and strategic insight. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all nursing operations. Your leadership will ensure the delivery of exceptional patient-centered care while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and Medicare standards. Responsibilities

•Provide strategic leadership for all nursing departments, ensuring high-quality care delivery aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
•Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote best practices in nursing management, swing bed, emergency department, and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
•Lead nurses by fostering professional development, effective communication, and collaborative teamwork to enhance patient satisfaction and staff engagement.
•Promote a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing outcomes, implementing quality initiatives, and supporting staff education.
•Manage staff schedule and assists during staffing shortages, or when needed, as a floor nurse working in both the emergency department and hospital.
•Assists in preparation of departmental budget.
•Works with CEO and other managers to prepare for and respond to all licensure, credentialing, and complaint surveys.

Qualifications

•Proven experience in nursing leadership roles.
•Strong background in nursing administration with demonstrated success in nurse management and healthcare management strategies.
•Familiarity with Medicare regulations and reimbursement processes related to skilled nursing facilities.
•Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams, foster collaboration, and drive organizational excellence.
•Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree or higher in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
•Valid RN licensure with current state registration.
•Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving in fast-paced healthcare environments.
