Now hiring for a full time Registration Clerk to register patients for the hospital and clinic. Position is eligible for full benefits package.
Clinic experience preferred.
Hillsboro Community Hospital is looking for a full time Registration Clerk to add to our team.
Hillsboro Community Hospital is a 15-bed critical access hospital located in Marion County, close to Marion Reservoir Lake and on the edge of the scenic Flint Hills. Hillsboro is less than an hour’s drive from Wichita to the South, Salina to the North, Hutchinson to the West, and Emporia to the East.
We pride ourselves on providing top quality medical care for Hillsboro and all of Marion County. Our services include an emergency department, full-service laboratory, inpatient care, physical therapy, radiology, surgery, swing bed, specialty clinics, and a family practice clinic.
What You Bring/Job Requirements:
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Register patients by verifying demographic information and insurance coverage
- Answer the main phone line
- Verify insurance benefits
- Collect co-payments
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
