Dietary Aide/Cook - Dietary
Hillsboro Community Hospital is looking for a full time afternoon/evening Dietary Aide/Prep Cook to add to our team.

The Dietary Aide/Prep Cook works under the guidance of the Dietary Manager. This position will help prepare patient and guest trays. Cleans and sanitizes utensils, equipment, and station after each mealtime and as required. Assist with tray line service for patients, employees, and guests. Assures patients receive proper diets as ordered.

What You Bring/Job Requirements:

Qualified Dietary Aide/Prep Cook candidates will need the following:

•Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
•Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
•Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
•Food Handlers Card preferred but not required
•One to three months of experience preferred

Dietary Aide/Prep Cook Requirements:

•Frequently required to stand and talk or hear
•Frequently required to walk
•Occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell
•Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
•Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception

Shift: 11am-6:30pm and rotating weekends
